The apartment is very modern, comfortable and has a small balcony with an incredibly beautiful view with sunset. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The location is just great, only a stone staircase separates the apartment from the beach and in just a few minutes walk you are in the town (yet it is very quiet). We have been there twice already and will certainly come back.

The view is more than beautiful…the sunset is stunning! Everything is spotless and everybody so warm and polite…the sandy beach (Almyrida beach), shops and taverns just a few steps away. You can also rent a car, a bike or a motorcycle from Almyrida. By car, Rethymno is 1h 10’ away, Chania 45 mins and Heraklion is 1h 50’ min away (these are max values at the end of july). At the beach, they have paddle boards, kayaks, etc. for renting by the hour or more.

The apartment was nice and clean and nicely decorated. There was a beautiful balcony with sea view, air conditioning and housekeeping during the stay. The beach is a 5 minutes walk. You can park right in front of the house. The hosts were friendly and also arranged the transfer from the airport.

We liked everything about this accommodation, I can't imagine a better choice. The sunset was stunning, the best part was our balcony :-)

We loved the fact that this place is so nice and quiet, you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the sea and the wonderful view of it. The bed is of great quality and the apartment is really well taken care of. The hosts stayed up late to check us in. Everything you need is nearby. We really liked taverna Lagos, bakery Piperiakis, and the car rental from Flisvos was really good. We recommend renting a car and exploring the island, Chania, Sfakia, Ilingas beach, etc. Whenever we had a question we could email Joseph and there was a quick reply. Book this place - you won't regret it !!

The apartment has a wonderful view of the sea. The balcony is lovely. The bed is very comfortable. The shower is luxurious. I appreciated having a fridge, toaster, stove, plates, glasses, et cetera. The beach is within easy walking distance.

The view of the bay and the sunset, absolutely wonderful. The room is a bit small but with perfect facilities, a great bed, a perfect bathroom with a large shower and a terrace where we enjoyed the sunsets. You can reach the beach without a car very quickly on some steps down to the beach. The picture say everithing. The view is the reason to choose this place and you will not regret. P.s. because at the departure the room have not be occupied by someone else that day, we were given the opportunity to check out at any time - we appreciated a lot!"

The owners were lovely and the location was beautiful. Second stay in almyrida but first stay here and would highly recommend these apartments.

Wake up in the morning after a good night's sleep in a large comfortable bed, have brekkie overlooking a beautiful bay, have a wash in a brand new and spacious shower and head out to the mountains or the sea for a lovely day out in gorgeous Greece. Great place - couldn't recommend enough.

From the moment we arrived when Helena brought us cheese and honey pastries, to the moment we left when Joseph (I think) hosed our dirty hire car down, we had a wonderful time at the Ansi apartments. Smartly refurbed just in the last couple of months, with a great shower, much needed air con, wifi that generally worked, a newly delivered table and mirror (in just the right place, which is a novelty, as any female will know), we have a marvellous time at the lovely Ansi. The view was indeed beautiful, overlooking a gorgeous bay and well placed to watch the sunset. Thanks for everything!

This was our second visit to Almyrida. Staying at the Ansi Apartments this time was an even better experience. with the fantastic views from the balcony and being only a few minutes walk from the beach. The apartment itself was beyond expectation it was very well furnished and fitted out to a very high standard, and Joseph and his family where very welcoming and friendly .We would have no hesitation recommending the Ansi.Loverly stay . Eine sehr liebevoll geführte Pension. Alle Zimmer haben Meerblick, es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man kann hier sehr ruhige Abende auf dem Balkon verbringen. Der schöne Sandstrand ist über eine Treppe in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Die Umgebung ist für Ruhesuchende ein Genuss.

View from the room at the sea, near the sandy beach, water activities - surfing, kayaks, catamarans and so on. Restaurants on the waterfront. Warm and welcoming hosts,nothing was too much bother.I felt immediately at home. The most amazing view from the balcony and perfect for morning coffee and pastries from the local bakery. Also sipping wine and watching the sun set after a hard day on the beach.

The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking… just want to sit, drink wine, read and enjoy the view of Souda Bay. The hosts were so sweet, gracious and caring. Apartment was spotless. Simple but everything we needed. Aircon was good. Wifi was excellent. Beautifully cared for courtyards & balconyies with bougainvillia & vines.
